Hall of Fame manager Tony La Russa led a leadership coaching clinic hosted by Victory for Gators Baseball Academy. Coaches had a rare opportunity to hear never-before-told stories and learn Tony’s core principles on leadership, building trust, and creating a winning team culture.

Get to know Jessica!

Jessica Halloran DMSc, PA-C, is a nationally certified Physician Assistant dedicated to patient care and health optimization. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Indiana State University, and went on to complete her Doctorate of Medical Science at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

Prior to joining Victory, Jessica developed a strong foundation in orthopedic and spine medicine. Today, she specializes in men’s health, with a clinical focus on testosterone optimization therapy, erectile dysfunction, and nutritional strategies that support vitality and performance.

Jessica takes pride in delivering compassionate, personalized care and believes in the importance of continuing education.

Over the years, finasteride has become increasingly easy to obtain through telehealth platforms like Hims and Keeps. But just because it’s accessible doesn’t mean it’s safe—or that you should take it.

Finasteride blocks DHT, one of the most powerful byproducts of testosterone. While this may slow hair loss, it can also have serious downstream effects on libido, mental health, sexual function, and overall hormone balance—sometimes with lasting consequences.

At Victory, we do not recommend finasteride to our patients. Instead, we explore safer alternatives like topical treatments and shampoos that support hair health without compromising hormones.

Hair loss is tough and emotional—but wrecking your hormones is far worse.

It’s about time the FDA corrected its stance on testosterone labeling. The previous warnings—built on limited evidence, flawed studies, and regulatory overreach—discouraged countless men from seeking treatment for hormone deficiencies. This update is a necessary course correction, cutting through the stigma and misinformation that have kept men from getting the treatment they deserve.

Led by the TRAVERSE trial’s results, FDA is recommending changes to current labeling language, to include:

➡️ Adding the results of the TRAVERSE trial to all testosterone products.

➡️ Retaining “Limitation of Use” language for age-related hypogonadism.

➡️ Removing language from the Boxed Warning related to an increased risk of adverse cardiovascular outcomes for all testosterone products.
