Latitude Therapy is excited to be part of this Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at the Missouri History Museum! 🎉

Now in its sixth year, FestAbility is the largest gathering by and for people with disabilities in the region and their families. The event celebrates the disability community through education, empowerment, and unity — honoring the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), signed into law on July 26, 1990.

📅 Saturday, October 4th
🕥 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Missouri History Museum

The day begins with the Disability Pride March at 10:00 AM (starting at the park’s Visitor Center and ending at the History Museum’s North Plaza).

✨ Activities begin at 11:00 AM and include:
✅ Adaptive sports demonstrations
✅ Sensory room
✅ Vendors & community organizations
✅ Children’s book readings + book giveaway
✅ Art activities with Artists First
✅ Therapy dogs from DUO Dogs
✅ Special performances in Lee Auditorium (1–2 PM)

🍂 Our Bridgeton clinic had so much fun on a Leaf Hunt this week! 🍁

With the first few days of fall here and the leaves starting to change, it was the perfect opportunity for our clients to explore and learn in nature.

Clients worked on:
🍂 Following instructions to find specific items
🍂 Asking and answering questions with peers
🍂 Exploring with their five senses
🍂 Describing, comparing, and contrasting
🍂 Talking about attributes
🍂 Expressing opinions and ideas

Not only was it a great way to enjoy the season, but it was also filled with learning, teamwork, and lots of smiles!

🚨 Exciting News from Latitude Therapy! 🚨

We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with Accelerate Bx LLC to expand access to autism diagnostic evaluations right here in St. Louis!

Starting October 2025, families will be able to schedule diagnostic evaluations at our Bridgeton Early Intervention ABA Clinic (3859 Fee Fee Rd., Bridgeton, MO 63044).

This partnership brings together the expertise of Dr. Natalie Parks, Ph.D., BCBA-D, IBA, LP, and Beverly Kirby, BCBA, to help families access high-quality autism evaluations—without the long waitlists that so often delay early intervention.

“As providers of ABA therapy in the St. Louis area for almost a decade, we have seen firsthand how long waitlists for ASD diagnoses impact families’ ability to access the care they need,” said Talia Schuss, Owner of Latitude Therapy - ABA. “We are very excited about our partnership with Accelerate Bx, as it will greatly expand access to care for families across the region.”
