🎨 Introducing: Paint Away Alzheimer’s – Our National Campaign to with Purpose 💜☂️

At Spectrum Retirement Communities, we believe that creativity can spark connection, storytelling, and even change. Step back in time? Don’t mind if we do!
We had a blast exploring the Historical Village at Faust Park—where we toured beautifully preserved buildings from all around St. Louis.

From Schoolhouse #4 to the Conway House and Mertz Cabin, each stop gave us a glimpse into how people lived, learned, and built community in generations past.

A day full of curiosity, connection, and a whole lot of “Wow, I never knew that!” moments.

This week, we created our own watermelon coasters, and we’re obsessed with how they turned out.
As always, the room was filled with laughter, creativity, and connection.

Our Mad Potters Garden Club is growing strong—literally!
We’ve been learning all about spider plants: from tiny sprouts to thriving adult plants that keep giving back. We’ve repotted, propagated, and painted beautiful pots to share with our new neighbors. It’s more than gardening—it’s connection, care, and a whole lot of joy. 🌱

Our latest outing brought us to the Lewis and Clark Boathouse Museum, where we explored incredible artifacts, learned about one of the most iconic expeditions in American history, and got fully immersed in the story of adventure, perseverance, and discovery.

The museum team was fantastic — ready to share facts, answer questions, and bring the journey to life. From the interactive exhibits to the fascinating documentary, we left inspired (and maybe a little more curious about what’s next on our history-themed bucket list!).

Our latest mixology class had us mixing, learning, and cheers-ing with a refreshing spring favorite: the peach bellini. Residents enjoyed discovering how each ingredient comes together to create a drink that’s as fresh and delightful as the season itself. 🍾🥂

With delicate spray and brush techniques, she transformed an upcycled frame into a striking study of modern minimalism.

We can’t get enough of this heartfelt Valentine’s celebration! 🎶❤️ One of our communities took the season of love to the next level with Singing Love-O-Grams! 🎤✨ Dressed to impress in a bold red tux, their Director of Entertainment & Programming, Jim, delivered serenades, roses, and sweet treats to residents and team members. 🌹🍫
