Clarendale Clayton and EmpowerMe Wellness have an incredible partnership that enriches the lives of our residents. Come and witness the great things we do daily.

Meet Joe, a resident of Independent Living at Clarendale Clayton, who recently took charge of his well-being during St. Louis’s severe weather season. Concerned about staying safe and independent in his apartment, Joe began working with two of our outstanding EmpowerMe clinicians—Physical Therapist Madi and Speech-Language Pathologist Andrea.

Through targeted therapy and support, Joe has significantly improved his oxygen line management during ambulation and has gained greater safety awareness at home. Now, he's moving with more confidence and handling unpredictable weather with greater peace of mind.

Way to go, Joe—and hats off to Madi and Andrea for helping make it happen!

Earlier this week we spent the afternoon at the James S. McDonnell Prologue Room at Boeing, exploring over 100 years of aerospace history. The exhibits were impressive, and our docent’s insight added so much depth to the experience.

This morning we visited the Mannequins Project, a public art installation and competition on display throughout University City.
This year’s theme, “Recycle it, Don’t Trash it,” invited artists to create garments from recycled materials, each design inspired by the local business it represents. What a creative look at sustainability in action!
