We're offering two free overdose prevention and naloxone trainings this fall, and we're making them easy and accessible to all! 🍂

These one-hour virtual trainings will prepare you to work with individuals who are at risk of experiencing or witnessing an opioid overdose. We'll cover topics including understanding opioid use disorder (OUD) as a brain disease, the landscape of the opioid epidemic, risk factors and harm reduction strategies, and how to respond to an overdose, including the administration of naloxone.

Although these trainings are free of charge, registration is required:

“I didn’t know that everyone has risk factors that affect drug use. Now that I do, I’m really trying to incorporate that into my life to keep me on pace and stay away from drugs and drug use.”

🎙️ Meet Matt Bitner-Glindzicz, founder of nCase Technologies, who—along with his fiancée—created a naloxone keychain to make carrying the lifesaving medication simple and accessible. After witnessing multiple overdose tragedies, Matt and Dani recognized the difficulty of regularly carrying naloxone due to its size and packaging, and decided to take matters into their own hands by creating a pocket-sized case for it. Now, they’re partnering with community groups to get naloxone into more hands, one keychain at a time.
