It is with a sad, yet excited heart we would like to officially announce the retirement of Ms. Lucy Gross Bedgood. It is hard to even begin to imagine how many countless lives Lucy has touched during her many years as a Speech-Language Pathologist. It wasn’t just because of the clinic she built, but because of the person she is. Those of us who have had the honor of working for her all agree, we have never felt anything less than family while at The Language Learning Center. Lucy’s compassion for others extends far beyond the families she has treated throughout the years. Her community service and influence on those fighting cancer continue to reach across the country with her “My Chemo Cocktail and me”book. She has always had a gift for thinking outside of the box and a compassion that radiates to everybody. She has left some very big shoes to fill. We pray that we can carry on with her vision as it continues into the future, through Advance for Kids. The vision of providing speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy as a complete team to treat the whole child is now a reality for Camden County. You have earned all the happiness in the world as you move into the next chapter of your life. May God bless and keep you on this new journey. We love you Lucy Gross Bedgood!!❤️
