She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in working with military families. With over 30 years of marriage and a big family, Samantha brings both professional expertise and personal life experience into her work. Living in St.Mary’s with her husband and children since 2006, Elissa brings both personal and professional insight to her work, especially in supporting military families, as a veteran and former navy spouse.

With her experience in foster care and child protective services, she has a strong background in trauma, addiction and family systems. Using a client centered approach, Elissa provides compassionate counseling for clients of all ages.
