In April, residents can look forward to fun seasonal activities, including crafts, games, music, and time outdoors as the weather improves. We’re also excited to celebrate Easter with special treats and activities.

Wow—what an amazing turnout for our Easter egg hunt!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated candy and helped make this day so special. Our residents truly loved watching the kids laugh, run, and hunt for eggs—it brought so much joy to their day. Moments like this are what community is all about.

Spring is here! It is time to think about beautiful flowers. The Auxiliary is again sponsoring their Annual Flower Basket Sale. Order forms are available at Stacyville branch of Saint Ansgar State Bank, Gordy's Implement, and the Nursing Home business office during regular business hours, and posted onthe front entry bulletin board. The cost is $42 (no sales tax). Completed forms along with payment may be returned to any of the above locations. These beautiful baskets are grown by Pork and Plants of Altura, Minnesota, a family-owned greenhouse. The flower baskets will be available for pickup on Sunday May 3 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Deadline for placing your order is Monday, April 13. Proceeds from this project are used to make improvements in the daily lives of residents.

March is a month that brings fresh beginnings, longer days, and the first signs of spring. As we say goodbye to winter, we look forward to brighter mornings, blooming flowers, and new opportunities to gather and celebrate together.

It's hard to believe it has been eight years since the Auxiliary compiled this excellent cookbook with 700+ delicious recipes. We still have books available and are now offering them at just $10 each, half the original price. The graduation and bridal shower season is upon us. To get your copy, see Machela at the SCNH Business Office during business hours. If you would like a copy mailed to you, we can do that too for just the added cost of postage. Message here and we will get your copy or copies out to you.
