Middle River Yoga is located at the traffic circle in Stafford, CT. Sits slightly back from the road on the upper level of the pillared building overlooking Middle River. The entrance is on the North side of the building in between the big mill and the pillared building. When you enter thru the grey side door go up stairs to studio the above picture is what you will find. Yoga at Middle River will teach you the asana (yoga poses) but essentially through your yoga practice we will guide you back home to yourself thru the asana using breath awareness and mindfulness. Yoga can be a spiritual practice for some, and for others its a mind body workout, for many its a connection to the inner self. Open yourself up to something greater beyond the yoga poses then you will be doing yoga. Yoga asana will alleviate physical tension patterns and tone the muscle in the body. A regular Yoga practice will restore physical mobility by relieving tension in the neck, back, shoulders, pelvis, lower back. Even the internal organs benefit from yoga.
