What is the downtime?

We loved spending the evening sharing our expertise on how to create a simple and effective at home skincare routine with . Our providers also shared their knowledge on collagen induction therapy, including SkinPen microneedling, and regenerative treatments like PRP and PRF using your body’s own “liquid gold” to support healing and stimulate natural collagen production. Do you have redness that won’t go away? This might be why… 💬

April is Rosacea Awareness Month and as we transition into warmer weather ☀️ and spend more time outside, some of you may notice an increase in redness, flushing, and skin sensitivity. Higher temperatures, sun exposure, and heat from everyday activities can trigger inflammation in the skin, especially for those prone to rosacea.

✨Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that often presents as persistent redness, visible blood vessels, and reactive skin. It can actually develop over time, commonly appearing in your 30s and 40s. Flare-ups are often influenced by both internal and external triggers.

Internal Triggers:
- alcohol
- caffeine
- certain inflammatory foods such as tomatoes and other nightshades

External Triggers:
- heat from sun exposure
- heat from opening an oven or using a blow dryer
- scolding hot showers
- harsh skincare products
- over-exfoliation can compromise the skin and make symptoms worse
