Gratitude, Good Food, and Great Company! 🦃💙

This week we celebrated Thanksgiving the Enett way surrounded by laughter, good food, and even better people. Our individuals and DSPs came together for a special Thanksgiving lunch filled with connection, smiles, and gratitude.

What makes these moments so special is how everyone is part of it. From setting the tables to sharing what we’re thankful for, every person had a role because at Enett, inclusion isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we live every day.

We shared stories, danced a little between bites, and turned lunch into a celebration of community. Every laugh reminded us why we do what we do creating spaces where everyone feels valued, seen, and part of something bigger.

We’re thankful for our incredible staff, the individuals we serve, and the families who trust us to walk this journey together.

At Enett Community Engagement Services, every day is a chance to celebrate inclusion, independence, and heart.

Every day teaches me something new. 💙

Working in the community isn’t just about supporting others — it’s also about listening and learning directly from the individuals we serve.

Each day, they remind me how to be more patient, creative, and understanding.
They teach me what real inclusion looks like — through laughter, curiosity, and the little victories that happen along the way. 🌟

From art projects at the library to walks in the park and museum visits, every outing reminds me that support goes both ways.

At Enett Community Engagement Services, we don’t just guide — we grow together. 💙

💙 At Enett, we don’t do boring days. 💙

We believe learning happens out there — not behind four walls! 🚗✨

A typical day might look like this:
📚 A library stop (where someone may or may not have “shushed” the staff 👀)
🛒 Wegmans runs that somehow turn into snack debates — fruit or chips? (Spoiler: chips win 😅)
🎨 Craft time at Michaels — and yes, the glitter situation is serious.
💻 Micro Center adventures — because buttons exist to be pressed!
🌳 A park walk to unwind and laugh about it all.

That’s Non-Center Day Support — real skills, real inclusion, and real fun.
We proudly support individuals with or without behaviors, because everyone deserves to be part of their community. 💙

We accept all Medicaid waivers and private pay — making services accessible to every family.

Yesterday, our individuals truly took the lead in choosing their adventures — and what a day it was! 💙

📚 First stop: City of Fairfax Regional Library, where everyone enjoyed exploring books and sparking new interests.
🥗 Next up: Wegmans, practicing independence through healthy food choices and budgeting while shopping.
💻 Then came a fun stop at Micro Center, checking out electronics and exploring technology.
🎨 We wrapped up at Michaels, where creativity shined while exploring art supplies and talking about future craft projects.

Every choice was theirs, every step was supported — building skills, confidence, and joy along the way. 🌟
