Some of my healing and Recovery cards are for sale in the Good News centre which is a Christian bookshop in Loughborough. I am looking for more places to sell the healing and Recovery cards with the hope they might reach more people who will find the images helpful in their own journey. Having not written a blog on the website for some time I felt it was time to share the meaning behind another of my healing and recovery images, with the hope it might connect with others also struggling with change. Rachel

This image has been on my mind a lot recently. Maybe it is as we come out of some of the Covid restrictions. But I am reminded the process of release from anything holding us is often a slow rather than a sudden process.

When we are trapped within our difficulties, it feels like a cage around us. It traps us, yet also somehow the confines bring us safety and security, a way to cope when what is outside feels risky and uncertain.

I have recently completed a new piece called "inner child". This illustrates the process I am going through in therapy. It portrays what I could not say in words. I hope it may also help others battling with these difficulties. Rachel.
