It's , National Faith HIV/AIDS Awareness Day!

Today is a day to recognize that HIV can affect people across different faiths and to come together to help end HIV stigma.

People living with HIV can have plentiful lives with advances in new medications. They are no different than you.

Here at Stamford CARES, we are non-judgmental and here to support people in their journey of starting or continuing HIV/Hep C testing. We offer free, 20-minute rapid tests, as well as SSP and referrals to PrEP.

Stamford CARES Story

The Stamford CARES Program was established in 1986 in response to the complex needs of people living with HIV/AIDS, and operates as the coordinating program of HIV care in Stamford.

Stamford CARES a program of Family Centers, Inc., is a community based program that provides comprehensive HIV prevention services, and helps men, women, children and families cope with HIV/AIDS infection through advocacy, education, delivery of services and networking.

Stamford CARES provides testing and outreach services, SSP services, and care to people living with HIV including medical case management, mental health, housing coordination and emergency financial assistance.
