👔 Steve King, Administrator
Originally from Jones County, Texas, Steve has called Haskell home for over two decades. With 22 years as a nursing home administrator, he brings both vision and deep commitment to his role. For years, he has believed in the potential of Stamford, and now he’s excited to work alongside the team to make that vision a reality.
💙 Keely Nickell, Director of Nursing (DON) said:
My name is Keely Nickell and I am from Breckenridge. I was fortunate enough to work in Stamford as an agency nurse and honestly fell in love with the facility and residents but saw some changes needed to be made. I was then approached to accept the Director of Nursing in Stamford and jumped at the chance to attempt to facilitate these changes. I believe we have built a strong management team that can make this a great facility to live in and trust with your family members. I consider myself Blessed to work in a small community that still has a local facility. I’ve been a nurse for over 20 yrs with the majority of my nursing experience in Long Term Care Facilities. I started in geriatric care as a CNA for 5 years prior to becoming a nurse. Taking care of Antique Angels has always been my passion. I look forward to building relationships in this community and caring for a generation that continues to make it an awesome place to be.
🌟 Jennifer Mueller, Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Jennifer moved to Stamford with her husband seven years ago and is proud to now call herself a Bulldog. An RN for nine years, her background spans both hospital and outpatient settings. She’s committed to rebuilding trust with the community, providing quality care close to home, and creating opportunities for local healthcare workers.
Together, Steve, Keely, and Jennifer are dedicated to strengthening community trust, building relationships, and ensuring excellent care for every resident. Their combined experience and compassion set the tone for a bright future at Stamford. 💙✨
