This month, Waterstone on High Ridge had the honor of hosting our Meet the Artist reception featuring Polish-American artist Ola Bassio. A talented local artist, Ola draws inspiration from her childhood home in Poland, as well as the fields and farm where she spent her early years.

We were especially excited to showcase her beautiful work—one of her pieces was even featured in the New Britain Museum of American Art.

Thank you, Ola, for sharing your story and your artistry with us. We loved having you and can’t wait to see what you create next!

Chef Dave had our mouths watering with his live cooking demo featuring classic Chicken Marsala! 🍗🍷

Residents gathered in the Country Kitchen to watch him sauté, simmer, and share his chef’s tips for creating rich flavor at home. The best part? Tasting that delicious finished dish together. 😋

👨‍🍳🥣 Teamwork at its finest! Our talented Waterstone on High Ridge chefs joined forces with our sister community Bridges by EPOCH at Norwalk team to create a delicious stew for the Greenwich Wallace Center’s annual Stew Cookoff — and we’re proud to share we took home 2nd place! 🏆

But the true winners were the wonderful seniors who got to enjoy every hearty, flavorful bowl. 💛 Congratulations to all the participants for making this a warm and memorable community event!
