When play feels done, the language doesn’t have to be!
Clean-up time is built-in language practice. Model simple, functional words as you wrap up the activity like “all done,” “finished,” “put it on,” “close it,” and “bye (toy)”. No new toy and no extra setup. Just narrate what is already happening and give one last opportunity for language before moving on 🗣️
