She was born on May 24, 1928, in Bivongi, Reggio Calabria, Italy, to the late Vincenzo and Immaculata Lorenti. Mary immigrated to the United States at a young age, accompanied by her parents and three brothers. They settled in a home in Stamford, CT where she attended the public elementary school system, and went on to graduate from Stamford High School....
