The carotidoclinoidal ligament (CCL) has great relevance in endoscopic cavernous sinus surgery. Here is our new publication describing its anatomical variations and surgical techniques for its transection. For the first time, we demonstrate the invasion of CCL by pituitary tumors, key when operating on functional adenomas.

Dr. Nobutaka Yoshioka “Nobu” is an extraordinarily talented neuro-plastic surgeon dedicated to the field of facial reanimation surgery in Osaka, Japan. He completed the revised version of his Atlas at Stanford NeuroTraIn lab. It was a real joy supporting his incredible work. Nobu is a testament that learning has no age limits. As Prof. Rhoton said “ there is no finish line…” Congrats Nobu !
