Stanford Transgenic, Knockout and Tumor Model Center As part of Stanford Transgenic, Knockout, and Tumor Model Center, we can provide transgenic animal tumor models and a variety of dosing/surgical services

Our objectives is a) To provide services to facilitate the use of animal tumor models by Stanford University community and around the world; and b) To expedite preclinical trials of new therapeutic agents with customized study design. Services and Technologies:
1. Consultation in all aspects of animal tumor-related models
2. In vitro and in vivo tumor model services
3. Drug toxicity and evaluation
4. In vivo imaging
5. Drug administration and microsurgeries
6. Irradiation
7. Sample collection
8. Data collection, analyses and reports using studylog software
9. Teratoma model services
10. Umbrella animal protocol

For example,
For a study that involves 50 mice, 5 groups, blood and spleen collection, 2 biochemical assays, standard tumor injection and 10 week tumor measurement, it costs about $15,000.

For a simpler study involving 20 mice, tumor injection and tumor and a tissue collection at the end, it costs about $1200-$1500.
