Rosen Place on 8th Assisted Living

Rosen Place on 8th Assisted Living Rosen Place on 8th Assisted Living provides a much-needed additional service to the residents of Stanley and Mountrail County.

Our Mission:
To provide residential style accommodations and individualized support services to meet the occupant’s needs and abilities to maintain as much independence as possible. Rosen Place on 8th is organized under the Mountrail County Medical Center umbrella and is connected to Mountrail Bethel Home, Mountrail County Medical Center Hospital & ER, Reiarson Clinic, Ina Mae Rude Aquatic & Fitness Center, and Centennial Court Independent Living. Assisted living facilities are a popular choice among seniors because they provide a level of independence with around-the-clock access to personal care services. Assisted living facilities allow seniors to enjoy social interaction and an overall better quality of life compared to unassisted living arrangements when assistance is needed. With the addition of Rosen Place on 8th to the Mountrail County Health Center’s Campus, we’ll be able to offer a full continuum of health care services as we become a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC).

In honor of National Hand Washing Awareness Week (Dec 1-7), here are a few important things to know to ensure you’re washing your hands properly:

🧼 The most crucial times to wash your hands are after going to the bathroom and before and after preparing food.
🧼 Always wash your hands for at least 15 seconds…but ideally 30 seconds.
🧼 Damp hands are MUCH more likely to spread bacteria than dry hands! Dry your hands thoroughly after you wash them, preferably with a paper towel as reusable towels can hang onto bacteria.
🧼 Scrub underneath your nails! Most bacteria on our hands lives beneath our fingernails, so make sure to give that area extra attention.

If you’ve been slacking on hand washing, consider this your friendly reminder to step things up to keep yourself and your loved ones healthier this winter.

August 7th-14th was recognized as National Assisted Living Week. Residents at Rosen Place celebrated with many “Ageless Adventure” activities. On Tuesday they were treated to lunch by T&T Takeout Food Truck which is operated by our CMA Tammy and her husband. Later that afternoon they enjoyed music from Larry Nelson. On Thursday, residents and staff were asked to bring any Teaware or Chinaware for a show! Chuck Repnow provided a presentation on the various items that were brought filling us all with new knowledge!
