In honor of National Physicians Week (March 23-29), we'd like to highlight MCMC's Chief of Staff–Family Medicine, Dr. Mark Longmuir, M.D.!

Dr. Longmuir brings both excellence and thoughtfulness to the MCHC team. In the words of one of his patients, "Both Dr Longmuir and his nurse, Kari, are very polite and considerate of my issues and health."

Born and raised in Stanley, Mark earned his undergraduate biology degree at UND Grand Forks and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed a Family Medicine residency at the Center for Family Medicine in Minot, serving as chief resident his third year.

Since August 2012, Dr. Longmuir has been practicing at MCMC, and we couldn't be more thrilled to have him as part of our team!

We hope you plan to join us this Wednesday as we say goodbye to the original Mountrail Bethel Home.

This will be a time for families to return, remember, and give thanks — one last visit to the original nursing home before it is taken down. The day will include a prayer of blessing and an opportunity to visit loved ones’ rooms.

Stanley friends and family, please join our team in celebrating Kelly Gustavson! Not only is she a dedicated advocate for our residents and their families, she is also an amazing friend and colleague.
