Derek, who has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, joined our therapists, Tracy and Cassidy, at Smith Mountain Lake for an adaptive wakeboarding event hosted by Wheel Love and Wake the World Adaptive. With Tracy side skiing and Cassidy assisting with transfers, Derek enjoyed three exciting runs on the water. He and his dad, Bill, had a fantastic day on the lake!
