Our HANDS Program had a wonderful time celebrating the season at our annual Christmas party on Monday, December 15th. Families enjoyed a delicious meal, fun crafts, gifts, pictures with Santa & Mrs. Claus and the chance to “Adopt an Elf”! There were around 70 in attendance for this fun-filled night!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing community partners who helped make this event possible:
• Powell County Public Library
• Powell County CECC
• The Golden Rule
• Stanton Elementary FRYSC
• Grace Fellowship Church for allowing us the use of their facility.

We are so grateful for the continued support of our community and for everyone who helped make this celebration a success. 💚🎄🎁

Health Departments play a vital role in all of our communities! Today our CG Bank Stanton team was privileged to present a donation check to the Powell County Health Department HANDS Program to aid in their Family Christmas Party.

HANDS is a program designed to support parents at critical development points during their child’s first two years of life by assist with child development, parenting skills, health services and other needed resources. We pray these families have a blessed holiday!

Free Narcan is now available to the public 24/7 at the health department! Please drive around to the back of the building. These purple boxes will be placed in other areas of our county soon thanks to a partnership with Estill/Powell KY ASAP. Stay tuned!
Powell County was #4 in the state for drug overdose deaths per capita for the last 2 years. This program is an effort to increase access to this life-saving resource and build a healthier, safer community.
