In honor of the birthday of the late Rondal Davis. He did so much for the youth of Powell County through his many years of coaching and mentoring. I have been told that in his day, he was a force to be reckoned with on the court.

Yesterday after the funeral service of Shirley Gay Crabtree there was a meal at his house. I got to witness something that 50 years ago or even a 100 years ago would probably have been common place. A group of men in this case the old band Northfork coming together to sing about the hope we have in Jesus Christ. The hope of heaven and the hope we will all get to see our loved ones again.
