Its been awhile but here is an update!
I hope this year has been treating you well! I am here to announce some updates that will be changing for my practice starting April 1st, 2023.
The last year has given me some time to reflect on my 10 years working as a licensed massage therapist. In the past few years I have made some changes and I have been forever grateful to all of you who have continued with me and allowed me to provide your care. I have come to realize that in order to continue doing the work that I love and providing quality massage therapy I must make a few more changes.
I will be dropping most of my insurance contracts and no longer accepting these plans starting April 1st, 2023. I will also be dropping my schedule to only work three days per week starting April 1st, 2023. I understand this may come as a shock and be an inconvenience to many but I have to do what will allow me to continue in my practice. There are many reasons why I am chosing to drop insurance and I have battled this decision for a long time. I truly love helping my patients and providing quality health care but I can no longer do it at the expense of myself and under the unomving hand of insurance. I hope you can all understand that and know that this was not an easy or quick decision.
I will no longer be in contract with the following insurances:
Aetna
Cigna
First Choice
Kaiser
Premera
I will happily provide documentation upon request that you can submit to your insurance in order to possibly be reimbursed (this is dependant on plan limitations and out of network benefits). I also accept HSA/FSA cards. If you choose to find another therapist who is in your insurance network I will do my best to help that process as you need.
