One of our participants shared something remarkable: our official start time was 10:37 AM — the exact time the Oso slide happened.
This was not planned. Our race was scheduled for 10:30, but we waited so everyone could start together. Some moments are simply meant to happen. Thank you for being part of this first chapter and helping begin what we hope will become a lasting tradition. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful inaugural event.

It was a beautiful day to be part of the Shamrock Fun Run with Stanwood Commerce Alliance!
We were happy to support the event by providing race timing and loved seeing the community come together for such a fun run. Thanks for including us. We are already looking forward to next year!!

Huge thanks to our SC Runners - Stanwood Camano Runners group for coming out to help pre-check the Whitehorse Half Marathon course!
The route is looking fantastic, and they’ll also be serving as our volunteer crew on race day.
