Parents of children on Medicaid- Idaho needs your advocacy by March 12!
*This affects adult services too
“Idaho Medicaid providers are facing new administrative burden following the recent announcement of a prior authorization requirement on speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy services after 20 sessions of each, effective immediately.
*Concurrently, Idaho’s governor’s proposed 2027 Medicaid budget cuts would eliminate coverage of all speech therapy services, along with eliminating occupational therapy and physical therapy, as well as adult audiology. If passed, this would be catastrophic for the 335,000 adults and children who rely on Idaho Medicaid,” not to mention drive long term cost up exponentially.
Our state is capable of working smarter, not harder. Let’s help our legislators understand the bigger picture.
