Follow along for some Fall PreSeason Prep Tips⚜️
With a background in Sports Medicine, I know this time of year the fall sports are about to get in full swing. We talk more about fall preseasons because those athletes are not usually in school and regular practices all summer leading up to the season. Preparing all summer is so important. We’ll be dropping some last minute reminders.
💜Break your shoes in!
Preseason is always a grind- don’t make it worse by having bad blisters. Wear them gradually leading up to preseason. If you can, try and rotate your shoes so you aren’t wearing the same pair every session, or if they need to dry out. If they are wet and you don’t have shoe driers, newspapers stuffed in them help. (If you don’t know what a newspaper is, ask someone older than 30 or think grocery store flier😉). Change your socks every session. We do everything on our feet, so take care of them and air them out between sessions⚜️
