This is a wonderful depiction of a simple way to connect with the parts of ourselves that feel overwhelming or cause us to feel paralyzed in certain situations.

Can you relate to any parts of this individual's experience depicted here?

Happy summer! I haven't posted on here in a while, so I thought I would check-in and see how everyone is doing! What are you most looking forward to this summer?

The image with this post is a simple thought-provoking question for you. Feel free to comment your thoughts below and provide encouragement to someone else too :)

When am I most likely to experience negative thoughts? How can I encourage myself in these moments?

Update on my practice: I have started seeing some of my clients in person this month and what a joy it has been to physically sit with my clients :) I am still offering telehealth sessions for those who live out of the area and for those whom it is more convenient to continue therapy virtually.

Are you feeling pressure to do or be more than you have the capacity for right now? Or are the voices of others stronger than your own right now?

I heard this quote during my workout this morning, and it struck me as a place that we all can often fall into. We lose our sense of purpose and direction when we spend our time attempting to be someone we are not, or doing things that are not aligned with our own values or beliefs.

Take a moment for a deep breath today and remind yourself that you don't need to be everything all of the time and you don't need to have all of the answers.

Hi! I'm Haley Weiss, owner and counselor at Haley Weiss Counseling. I'm so glad that you stopped by my page! Here is a little about me, my experience, and the services that I offer.

Counseling has been a path that I have always felt drawn to: meeting people in the midst of their struggles and pain and helping them find a path to hope again. My hope is that through counseling, you will be able to discover new strength within yourself and walk an empowered life confident of who you are and who you are presently working to become.

My professional and clinical journey into the counseling field began in 2017 as I started my master’s degree program at Colorado Christian University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and received my degree in December 2019. Throughout my practicum and internship experiences, I provided services to college students, adolescents, adults, and couples in many different walks of life who were experiencing a range of mental health concerns. I am currently working under supervision accumulating hours of experience to apply for professional licensure in Pennsylvania. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) recognized by the National Board of Certified Counselors. I am also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).

Outside of the professional realm, I enjoy spending time and making memories with my husband through playing our ever-growing collection of board games, bike riding, hiking, making and eating delicious food, reading Captain America or Wonder Woman comics, and making music together. I love being outside in nature and take great joy and refreshment in the sunshine. My favorite color is purple and my favorite season is spring!

I look forward to connecting with you!
