Maybe you think it sounds a little cheesy 🤪

But I TRULY feel my best when I make exercise a priority in my life through every season

It helps me feel strong in and out of the gym, so I can keep up with our cows, hobbies or son who is literally nonstop 😮‍💨

It gives me more energy, even after the nights where sleep was basically non existent 🥲

It helps me feel confident and capable because I’m showing up for ME, I’m showing myself that I can do the hard things 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

And when you’re navigating postpartum and a body that doesn’t always feel like yours anymore? THAT IS SO IMPORTANT

I know you’re balancing a million things on your plate as a woman in agriculture. And maybe you keep telling yourself that you REALLY want to start exercising, but feel too intimidated or overwhelmed to start

But no matter how small it may seem, carving out *a little* time every week to strengthen your body will be one of the greatest returns on the investment of your time and energy

When you feel good in your body, that positively overflows into EVERY other area of your life

That’s why I created the Dairy Girl Fitness Collective 💃🏼💪🏼 my fitness and nutrition membership for women in ag

Where the workouts are simple, effective, require minimal equipment and don’t take up your entire day!! So you can show up, kick ass, FEEL GOOD and tackle the rest of your busy schedule 🙌🏼

The crucial step that so many women miss 😅

And that’s a reverse diet 👏🏼

The thing that helps you maintain your fat loss results, without feeling like you have to eat lower calories forever!!

(That sucks, not fun and it’s not healthy long term)

A reverse diet is when you slowly increase your macros/calories over a period of time, giving your body time to adapt, and aiming to get back to maintaining your weight at a higher and healthier place of calories

Do you “have to” reverse diet? No 🤷🏼‍♀️

But if I’m spending a couple of months busting my ass in a calorie deficit, I’ll continue my patience to make sure these results stick around 😂

Becoming a mother has taught me…

- Women are SO FCKING BADASS. I already knew this ❤️‍🔥 But damn, becoming a mom shows you the load so many women are carrying (while making it look “easy”)

- The value in a good night of sleep 😮‍💨

- How important open, honest communication is with yourself and your partner

- Holding the hard and happy feelings at once, and knowing that doesn’t mean something is wrong with you

- Making time for yourself may feel harder, but that doesn’t make it any less important

- You’re never alone in this motherhood journey. Meaning that regardless of your physical community, your experiences are shared with moms across the world and generations 🥹

- Often we just want to feel seen and understood. LIKE YEAH THIS S**T IS HARD SOMETIMES, thank you for noticing!

- You’ll always find a way to figure it out and have so much more strength than you may realize

- Their childhood is also your motherhood, make sure you enjoy both

- You’re the best mother for YOUR children 🫶🏼

I’m so thankful to wear the mom title, and it really is something you can’t fully understand until you’re in it. And even then, wtf are we doing sometimes? 😂

So happy Mother’s Day y’all! To those who are a mom in any capacity, to those on their journey to become one and to those carrying heavier emotions today 💗

Misery loves company 🗣️

And anyone who is trying to belittle or tear you down is not TRULY happy with themselves 🤷🏼‍♀️

Some people also just suck (like this lady!!) 😂

Your body is not a trend, or something you have to constantly mold to fit into an unrealistic box

Take care of your health so you can live a long, strong, energized life that MAKES YOU HAPPY 💃🏼🙂‍↔️
