Welcome to The Healing Room of State College, PA, located just minutes from Penn State University's main campus. We are a small, holistic wellness center specializing in mental health counseling, body-energy work, and personal and spiritual growth. The staff at The Healing Room consists of: Carrie Schwartz, LPC, Kathy Gates-Moore, LCSW, and Luna Banjo, Therapy Dog in Training. We work with a wide

array of adults who seek healing from the difficulties of things such as: post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociative disorders (DDNOS, DID), anger management, depression, anxiety, grief, self-care and stress management, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, etc. We are also passionate about working with individuals who are interested in seeking greater self-awareness and spiritual growth. Additionally, we offer intensive trauma treatment programs, as well as Reiki and Jin Shin Jyutsu services.
