Join us this evening for the BIG EVENT: No cost to attend and enjoy FREE ICE CREAM, live music by Eric Ian Farmer, treats from Good Day Cafe and Bees Knees Coffee, door prizes, activities, vendor fair and great stories! Join us for The Skills of Central Pa 18th Annual Mental Health Awareness Month Kickoff Celebration presented by Centre Helps. FREE ADMISSION!

May 2nd, the doors open at 5pm with music, food, activities and a vendor fair. The formal program begins at 5:30pm

This year’s event is different, because we have expanded the celebration with so many more service providers and organizations that are key to mental health in Centre County, now actively participating in the event.

New Venue: Wasson Farm for the first time in event history. The event barn is located at 2545 Shingletown Rd State College, PA 16801

With generous sponsorships from Centre Helps/988 Crisis Hotline, The Meadows Psychiatric Center, Opportunity Centre Clubhouse, and Skills of Central Pa, we are able to bring live music, food, ice cream, and a full program of speakers and success stories to the party on May 2nd!

For 2024, we formed an entire committee of volunteers, who have been meeting and working on various elements of the celebration for months now. Representatives from many of the most recognized names in mental health and human services are serving on the committee and we wish to thank them for their efforts.
