Wellness in Motion Studio Wellness in Motion is for every body. We offer a welcoming environment and a wide range of classes f Our classes focus on yoga for wellness.

Wellness in Motion is an intimate yoga studio, located at 2541 East College Avenue, State College PA (Suite 104). We offer smaller class sizes, a welcoming atmosphere, judgement-free zone, and a community feel. Sure, yoga will help increase your strength, flexibility and balance, but we also provide an opportunity for you to connect with your mind, body and breath. Experience yoga, taught in an atmosphere of safety and acceptance. Learn how to turn inward and find your own pace and way of being. Reduce stress, free physical tension, and connect to your inner wisdom on a deeper level. Wellness in Motion offers classes for every body - all ability levels and all ages. Our younger yogis will find their class offerings under the youth yoga tab (top right). Information on our regular, weekly adult yoga classes can be found under the classes and events tab. We know that some people enjoy moving slowly and others enjoy moving more quickly, so our classes range from Gentle Yoga to Power Flow Yoga with a little of everything in between. Meet your instructor: Toni

Toni began her yoga journey 16 years ago after graduating from Penn State and accepting her first sales position. Yoga became an outlet to build strength both emotionally and physically helping her to work through some personal life challenges. With 11 years of total teaching experience, Toni spent the first six years teaching group fitness classes. One class was inspired by muay tai, boxing and karate and the other was inspired by tai chi, pilates and yoga. It was the love of the second that encouraged Toni to pursue her 200 hour RYT at The Zen Den in Margate, NJ in 2015, her Mindfulness Resilience Training for Trauma through the Veteran’s Yoga Project in 2019 and now her 300 RYT at Wellness in Motion. Toni’s vinyasa is a fun, flowy practice designed to empower you.

Meet your instructors: Kathleen or Miss Kat as our youth yogis call her :)

With over 14 years experience in early childhood special education and a life-long passion for the benefits of movement for all ages, Kathleen is continually growing as a yoga instructor. As a long time yoga practitioner Kathleen was eager to grow with yoga and completed the Every Kids Yoga © training in 2011 and was inspired to further her knowledge by completing the basic ChildLight Yoga and Yoga for Tween & Teens trainings as well as graduating with a 200 hour Yoga Teacher certification in March 2017. Kathleen recognizes how much learning takes place when the body is in motion as well as the importance of learning to be still. Within a traditional classroom setting, as well as during yoga classes, she has utilized her knowledge for behavior management, conflict resolution, connection to self and others and to energize or calm student groups as necessary. Yoga for youth has shown to promote gains such as improving attitude toward self and others, increasing body awareness as well as strength and flexibility while also reducing anxiety. Kathleen believes in identifying individual strengths as a means to motivate and inspire all youth to reach new goals, both on the yoga mat and in life.

Youth Yoga Flow (ages 11-15)
This series is designed just for tweens and teens, blending mindful movement, play, and confidence-building! Students will explore age-appropriate yoga poses, flowing sequences, and creative movement, all while learning practical tools for connecting mind and body. Each class encourages self-expression, flexibility, and strength, with a focus on having fun and celebrating what their bodies can do. Breathwork and relaxation techniques are woven into every session to help young yogis manage stress and feel grounded both on and off the mat.

It's that time again! Join Jenn this Sunday at 5p for a restorative sound & breath meditation.

Calm your mind and ground your nervous system with this truly a soul-nourishing experience. Bring your own mat and any props that will make you more comfortable in a reclined position: pillow, blanket, bolster, eye pillow, etc.

A sound bowl meditation is a deeply calming and restorative practice that uses the resonant tones of crystal bowls and other sound modalities to facilitate relaxation and healing. As the bowls are gently struck or played with a mallet, they produce harmonic vibrations that resonate through the body, encouraging a state of deep focus and inner peace. These vibrations can help balance energy, clear emotional blockages, and promote mental clarity. The sounds guide participants into a meditative state, where the mind quiets, stress melts away, and a sense of tranquility and rejuvenation takes over. The soothing tones create a space for mindfulness, offering a unique experience of sound therapy that nurtures mind body and spirit.
