She has officially earned her credential as a Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM, CFPP). This certification, verified through the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers, recognizes her expertise and dedication to high standards in food protection and nutrition management. We are fortunate to have her expertise on our team as she continues to provide excellent service to our community.

Each April, we celebrate a dual milestone: our Juniper anniversary and the birthday of the woman who inspired it all!

April 6 marked the birthday of Lynne Katzmann’s grandmother, Oma. A true original, Oma survived two world wars, ran her own business in the 1920s and rode her motorcycle well into her 70s. Lynne chose April 6 to launch a bold new vision of what it means to grow older.

Nearly 40 years later, our veteran leadership team carries Oma’s spirit into everything we do. But what truly sets us apart is the depth of experience we have gained over these 38 years, having navigated an evolving industry and the journey of getting older together.

Our strength lies in our shared history, providing the deep roots for a strong culture and a pioneering spirit to keep pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities.

Our Wellspring Connections and Executive Directors recently participated in Dementia Friends Training, a global initiative designed to transform how we understand and support those living with dementia. By completing this program, our leadership continues to foster a supportive environment where everyone is treated with dignity and compassion. We look forward to applying these meaningful lessons to further strengthen the Juniper Village community.

We celebrate the retirement of Lori Sprout from Juniper Village at Brookline, Rehabilitation and Skilled Care, after 13.5 years of dedicated service as a Housekeeping/Laundry Associate. Lori has been a vital part of our community, and her hard work and commitment to excellence have left a lasting impact on everyone here. While she will be truly missed by colleagues and community members alike, we are excited for her as she begins this new chapter. We wish Lori all the best and hope she enjoys many wonderful future camping adventures!
