TB to the NY crisis. I had no experience in the ER, but they were desperate! Heartbreaking, awful, terrible, wonderful, amazing experience. We were all in it together. And I'll never forget the people I worked with, and the feeling of cohesiveness in such a chaotic environment. Still working through some of the PTSD from the pandemic, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. It gives you perspective, that's for sure. And even though it felt like I was in battle, I was so grateful to be able to keep working. l held on to that, it helped knowing that I was "lucky." Uff... glad to be on the other side, though!
