Thank you to Rep. Nicole Malliotakis and all those involved to help advocate legislation to crackdown on the pharmacy insurance companies (PBMs) who are unregulated and operate unfairly to pharmacies and our patients.

“As a pharmacist in an independent practice, I observe directly how patients and PBMs interact,” he said. “These practices threaten not only the viability of my community pharmacy but also the health of my patients. And that’s why I’m asking for reform.”

The owner of Delco Drugs in Eltingville, Robert Annicharico, joined the congresswoman Wednesday.

I express deep gratitude to Representative Nicole Malliotakis and my fellow Staten Island pharmacy owners for boldly bringing attention to the current challenges we are facing.
