There are over 23,000 PAs across NY providing high-quality care to patients of all ages, practicing in every specialty, and managing treatment for all New Yorkers. This year, we ask the NYS Legislature to pass A.7988 / S.7981 to modernize the PA profession and expand patient’s access to care across the state!

Exciting update for the PA profession! 🎉 New Jersey has officially become the 20th state to join the PA Licensure Compact. With the enactment of this law, PAs in New Jersey will have a more streamlined process to obtain authorization to practice in more than one state. 🙌 Congratulations to NJ State Society of Physician Assistants! New legislation in effect!

My physician assistants bill is now in effect! This legislation modernizes the guidelines for physician assistants, allowing them to broaden their practice. This is an important step in addressing the healthcare workforce shortage and expanding access to quality care for New Yorkers.

PA Consultants will be gathering scrubs from our colleagues to donate. Will you? If you’d like to drop scrubs off to one of our collection boxes in any of our offices throughout the five boros and Long Island, feel free to contact us.

Do you have scrubs you can donate? High school students need scrubs (new or gently used/clean) to complete their healthcare internships, and we are asking for your help. Please contact Futures and Options in NYC or drop off your donations at their location (111 Broadway) on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
