Ogeechee Area Hospice takes great pleasure in announcing Carol Hinojosa as the Employee of the Month for May. In addition to possessing outstanding nursing abilities, Carol consistently demonstrates a profound commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, often going above and beyond the call of duty without expectation of recognition. She frequently volunteers her time off to assist colleagues and has shown her playful side by surprising them dressed as the Easter Bunny. A testament to her kindness is when she took the time to pick a rose from the OAH garden to place on a patient's pillow after his passing.

Although we're posting a little late, we couldn't miss sharing pictures of our wonderful volunteer. Our staff was honored to give a little love back to our volunteers with lunch and gifts.

Ogeechee Area Hospice Bereavement Services offers grief support groups open to anyone in the community, as well as to our hospice families who have experienced the death of a loved one.
