Front Medical Receptionist (Apply on Indeed)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients, and maintaining efficient office procedures. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of medical office process and practices working independently and with other team members.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette and direct them to the appropriate staff.
Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for healthcare providers for a wide range of appointment types.
Ensure new and existing patient files are accurately collected, maintained, updated, and compliant with HIPAA regulations.

Complete pre planning of appointments with insurance eligibility checks and patient confirmations.
Assist in managing medical records through scans/faxes and filing systems to ensure easy access to patient information.

Requirements

Proven experience in a medical office or similar environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of medical office processes and practices and HIPAA compliance.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Previous experience with front desk operations in a healthcare setting is an advantage.

We are seeking a Primary Care Medical Assistant to perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician. More specifically are the duties listed below.

Administrative tasks

Administer injections, such as vaccinations
Perform basic procedures, such as wound care
