The staff of Fresh Start Counseling wishes everyone Happy Holidays!! The office will be closed From Monday, December 23, 2024 until Monday, January 6, 2025 to give the staff time some well deserved time off. We realize the holidays are not equally as enjoyable for everyone and can often be very challenging. If you or anyone you know finds yourself in a crisis, we encourage the use of the su***de prevention hotline by dialing or texting the number 988. We look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year!!

Fresh Start Counseling has reopened! We are so grateful for those working tirelessly and away from their families in order to make it possible for us to reopen! Some of our therapist are withou power and water so we appreciate your patience as we try to balance work and home. We look forward to our resuming normal operation.

Our office will remain closed at this time until electricity can be restored. Some therapist are offering tele health services as they are available. There will be no one answering phones or returning messages until the office reopens as staff are facilitating clean up efforts with their families. We continue to support and pray for all of the responders and providers working tirelessly to support the restoration of our community.

Our office will be closed today, Friday, September 27, due to storm damage, closed roads, and unsafe conditions. We pray for all this affected as well as the safety of first responders, law enforcement, linemen, and all those who leave their families to restore our community after such an event. We will reopen on Monday.

The staff of Fresh Start Counseling appreciates the patience extended over the past year as we navigated through uncharted waters trying to manage the increased demand for services coming out of COVID. We are pleased to announce we have several therapist taking new patients. If you have reached out in the past year or if you are currently seeking counseling, we encourage you to give us a call at 912-489-7590. We have availability for adults, families, teens, and some limited spots for children. We also offer telehealth services to residents of Georgia.
