The Institute for Health Logistics & Analytics at Georgia Southern University works daily to transform the health and well-being of our communities through applied evidence-based practices and technology integration. Our small but mighty team is located on Georgia Southern's beautiful downtown Statesboro campus. 🌍Dr. Jessica Schwind led the Keynote dialogue: One Health Perspectives from the US and Ireland and sat on a panel discussion focused on exploring transatlantic perspectives on implementing One Health across systems.

✨Jill Johns served as a panelist for a discussion focused on the challenges of integrating One Health into policy.

📆Happy Meet the Team Monday! We're thrilled to be announcing our newest team member, Mandana Malyani!

🔉Mandana Malyani, MD, DrPH, MPH is a social epidemiologist and public health evaluator with a medical background and experience in emergency management and global health. She previously worked at CDC and now serves as a Health Data Analyst at , focusing on data analysis, evaluation, and program planning. Her interests include social determinants of health, immigrant youth mental health, One Health, and equity-driven public health.

✨Fun fact: Mandana is the first immigrant woman to earn a doctorate in Social Epidemiology in the United States, and she has a tabby cat and a Chihuahua who sit next to her during every data analysis session.

And thank you to the Georgia Opioid Crisis Abatement Trust for granting us this opportunity.
