Today is World Mental Health Day — a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health. Take a moment to check in with yourself and those around you. 💚
Let’s keep breaking the stigma and continue supporting each other every day, not just today.

🎀 Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

You’ll be seeing a lot of these posts from us this month — and for good reason! 💗
Breast cancer isn’t just one disease. There are different types, and knowing the difference can help with understanding diagnosis and treatment options.

✨ Common types include:

Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS): A non-invasive cancer found in the milk ducts.

Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC): The most common type, starting in the ducts and spreading to surrounding tissue.

Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (ILC): Begins in the milk-producing lobules and can spread to nearby areas

Inflammatory Breast Cancer: A rare but fast-growing cancer that causes redness and swelling of the breast.

Paget’s disease of the breast: a rare form of breast cancer that affects the ni**le and the surrounding ar**la, the dark circle of skin. It's characterized by eczema-like changes to the ni**le skin, including redness, flaking, scaling

💗 Awareness and education save lives — so yes, you’ll be seeing plenty of pink posts this month from us!

October is widely recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but it is also Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. 💙💗

We want to take a moment to acknowledge and support families who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy or infant. Your grief is real, your babies are remembered, and you are not alone. 🕊️

If you or someone you love has experienced this kind of loss, please know that resources and support are available. Our providers are always here to listen, answer questions, and connect you with care and support services. 💕

This month, let’s continue to spread awareness, compassion, and support for both important causes

🎀 Know Your Risk, Protect Your Health 🎀
Some factors can increase your risk of developing breast cancer, such as:
✅ Family history of breast or ovarian cancer
✅ Carrying certain genetic mutations (like BRCA1/2)
✅ Getting older
✅ Dense breast tissue
✅ Early periods or late menopause
✅ Never being pregnant or having a baby later in life
✅ Lifestyle factors (smoking, alcohol, lack of exercise, poor diet)
💡 What you can do:
✔️ Get regular mammograms as recommended for your age/risk level
✔️ Do monthly breast self-exams and know what’s normal for you
✔️ Maintain a healthy weight and stay active
✔️ Limit alcohol and don’t smoke
✔️ Talk with your doctor about your personal risk
Early detection saves lives—knowledge is power! 💕

🎀 Mammograms are important, but they aren’t the only tool for early detection.
Breast self-exams matter too!

Take a few minutes each month to check your breasts and watch for:
✔ Lumps or thickened areas
✔ Skin changes—dimpling, redness, or rashes
✔ Changes in size or shape
✔ Ni**le changes or discharge
✔️ANY changes

💗 Mammograms + self-exams = your best defense.
Early detection saves lives—don’t skip either one!

📞 Call us to schedule your mammogram or to learn more about proper self-exams
