Our mission at Mama Doc Pediatrics is to keep your children happy and healthy by providing excellent and compassionate care to both parent and child. Mama Doc has board certified pediatricians located in Statesboro, Georgia, and is currently accepting new patients, newborns to teens. In addition to general office visits, we offer newborn nursery services, emergency room consultation, and general pediatric admissions at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Ga. Dr. Elizabeth Penn -

Dr. Penn is a board certified pediatrician and is currently accepting new patients, newborns to teens. Since completing medical school and a pediatric residency at MUSC in Charleston, SC., Dr. Elizabeth Penn has been serving the city of Statesboro and the surrounding areas for over three years. In addition to her pediatric training, she also holds a Masters in Public Health. She previously worked as a primary care pediatrician and pediatric hospitalist in Florida. She and her husband Dr. Eli Penn, a gastroenterologist, recently moved to Statesboro to raise their children and to join an exciting and growing medical community. As a mother of three small children, a wife, and a practicing pediatrician, Dr. Penn understands how important expert, personal, and timely care is for your children. Dr. Anna Benson -

Dr. Anna Benson joined our office after living in Charleston, SC where she completed medical school and a pediatric residency. She comes to Statesboro with her husband, Robert Benson, who is a native of Statesboro. They have two small children, and Dr. Benson is excited to join the community she has come to know and love over the past several years. Dr. Benson also completed a Masters in Health Administration with a focus on the delivery of quality patient care. She is committed to providing the highest standards of care for your child. 𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬: Apply a cold compress or ice pack wrapped in a towel for 15–20 minutes at a time during the first 24–48 hours.
𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬: Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. If there is severe swelling or your child can't put weight on the area seek medical attention
𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬: If you suspect a break— a limb that looks deformed, your child can’t move it, or there's severe swelling, immobilize the area and seek medical care immediately.
