GGS Board Member, Victoria Helmly, shares why GGS is important to her as part of our 65th Anniversary: "Over the last several years, GGS has been incredibly meaningful to me. I have grown as a student and as an aging professional through the many learning opportunities offered by this organization, including the annual conference. These opportunities have been important for my research and my career. I appreciate the attention that GGS gives to students and the encouragement that its members offer to those who are new to the field. The relationships and friendships that I have developed through GGS are invaluable and have shaped who I am as a gerontologist."
