We are looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Ogeechee OBGYN team!
Location: Statesboro, GA
Schedule: Full-Time | 36-40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtaining vital signs and medical history
- Educating patients about what to expect during exams/procedures
- Assisting providers with exams/procedures
- Administering medications or vaccines
- Collecting and processing specimens
- Answering clinical phone calls
- Maintaining patient records
- Scheduling follow up appointments
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certification (preferred)
- Familiar with medical terminology
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Empathy and compassion to give support to patients
- Patience with providers and patients

Beneficial Skills:
- Experience with Athena EMR system
- Previous OB/GYN experience
