Our office is closed today, Friday, July 4th as we celebrate the holiday with our families.
📞 If you need urgent medical assistance, an on-call provider is available at 912-871-2273 (Option 9). All medical emergencies should proceed to the emergency department.

Please note: Medication refills will not be handled by the on-call provider.

We will resume regular business hours on Monday, July 7th.

📢 Important Office Update : EHR Cloud Upgrade

Southern Family Medicine will be upgrading our electronic health record (EHR) system to a cloud-based platform over the holiday weekend, from Thursday, July 3rd through Saturday, July 6th.

🔹 We will remain OPEN on Thursday, July 3rd for:
* Acute sick visits
* Prescription refills
* Lab draws
* Nurse visits

Due to limited access to our system during the upgrade, we will not be able to send prescriptions electronically. All refills will be provided on paper or called in directly to your pharmacy. We kindly ask for your patience during this time.

💡 Why this upgrade matters:
This new cloud-based system will allow us to:

* Access hospital records faster
* View consult notes from specialists more efficiently
* See your prescription fill history in real time

We’re excited for the improvements this will bring to your care and appreciate your support as we make this transition.

Important Update: Early Closure Today & Good Friday Hours

Today, we’ll be closing a bit early — at 4:00 PM — to spend some time with our team and thank them for their hard work and dedication. We truly appreciate your support and understanding!

Please also note:
We will be closed this Friday, April 18th, in observance of Good Friday — a sacred day of reflection on the sacrifice and love of Jesus Christ.
