The Hearts and Hands Clinic

The Hearts and Hands Clinic Bulloch County's only free healthcare clinic for the medically uninsured. Together we take our hearts and use our hands to inspire by giving hope.

The Hearts & Hands Clinic promotes healthy living and health education by providing free primary health services for Bulloch County residents who are medically uninsured and have an income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Our purpose is not one of enabling, but to serve the community by providing support for individuals as they seek ways to better themselves. Services Offered:

-Primary Medical Care
-Chronic Care Education
-Prescription Assistance
-Dental Screenings

Eligibility Requirements:

-All applicants must be 18 years of age or older
-Applicants must be uninsured
-All applicants must be residents of Bulloch County

*There is a wait list process in order to become a patient. Call the office for additional information.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Kelly McDonald as our new Executive Director for The Hearts and Hands Clinic. A lifelong resident of Bulloch County and a graduate of Georgia Southern University, she brings a unique understanding of our community . We are excited about the future and look forward to seeing how her leadership and expertise will continue to build upon the strong foundation we have established.

Dr. Loy Cowart has volunteered his wisdom and guidance at the Hearts and Hands Clinic for 10 of the 15 years they have been operating. After a decade of shaping the lives of volunteers and patients, he has decided to step down as the medical director.
