Bray, DMD and Young, DMD

Bray, DMD and Young, DMD We commit ourselves to provide the highest quality dental care in an atmosphere of concern for each patient’s individual needs. Bray, DMD, & Young, DMD, P.C.

was established in 1990, but we have been practicing in Statesboro since 1986. Dr. Bray and Dr. Young have been married since 1983 and are blessed with 3 children. A family-oriented practice has been their goal from the beginning. They desire to be the primary dental care providers for every member of a family from birth through their golden years. However, there is no requirement that every famil

y member be a part of the practice. Both Dr. Bray and Dr. Young accept referrals from other dentists for specific services or limited periods of time. Dr. Young frequently cares for only the children in a family when the parents are established with another dentist. Those children generally transfer to their parent’s dentist at an appropriate time. Our expected outcome is to establish and maintain good dental health for the entire family. Dr. Young has gifts and passion for dealing with children that is truly amazing. Dr. Bray enjoys the variety of general practice and helping his patients achieve dental health. Our Purpose:

“Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 2

We commit ourselves to provide the highest quality dental care in an atmosphere of concern for each patient’s individual needs. We commit ourselves to provide this high quality of dental care for fees that reflect our skill and expertise and that will yield a reasonable return for our services.

Your mental health and oral health are more connected than you might think. 💙
Stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges can lead to teeth grinding, jaw pain, dry mouth, and even an increased risk of cavities and gum disease. In fact, studies show that people experiencing high stress are more likely to neglect daily oral care routines and develop dental concerns.
Taking care of your mind helps protect your smile, too. Be kind to yourself, and don’t forget your dental health along the way. 😌🦷
If you’re experiencing jaw pain or sensitivity, we’re here to help.

Protecting little smiles is a big deal! 🦷💙
When decay reaches the inner part of a child’s tooth, pulp therapy helps treat the infection and preserve the tooth with a medicated filling. This keeps the tooth healthy and helps protect the development of permanent teeth.
Our team provides gentle, kid-friendly care to keep growing smiles strong and healthy. 😁✨

It’s Root Canal Awareness Week! 🦷✨
Root canals are designed to save teeth by removing infection from the inner pulp and preventing future damage. The leading cause of needing a root canal is deep tooth decay that reaches the inside of the tooth, often from untreated cavities or trauma.
The good news? Modern root canals are safe, effective, and help preserve your natural smile. 😁
If you’re experiencing sensitivity or tooth pain, don’t wait!

Myth: If you brush well, flossing isn’t necessary.
Truth: Even the best brushing can’t reach between your teeth where plaque and food particles hide. Flossing helps clean those tight spaces and prevents cavities and gum issues.
💡 Tips:
• Floss once a day
• Gently curve the floss around each tooth
• Don’t skip those back teeth!
A complete routine = a healthier smile! 😁✨
