Bray, DMD and Young, DMD

Bray, DMD and Young, DMD We commit ourselves to provide the highest quality dental care in an atmosphere of concern for each patient’s individual needs. Bray, DMD, & Young, DMD, P.C.

was established in 1990, but we have been practicing in Statesboro since 1986. Dr. Bray and Dr. Young have been married since 1983 and are blessed with 3 children. A family-oriented practice has been their goal from the beginning. They desire to be the primary dental care providers for every member of a family from birth through their golden years. However, there is no requirement that every family member be a part of the practice. Both Dr. Bray and Dr. Young accept referrals from other dentists for specific services or limited periods of time. Dr. Young frequently cares for only the children in a family when the parents are established with another dentist. Those children generally transfer to their parent’s dentist at an appropriate time. Our expected outcome is to establish and maintain good dental health for the entire family. Dr. Young has gifts and passion for dealing with children that is truly amazing. Dr. Bray enjoys the variety of general practice and helping his patients achieve dental health. Our Purpose:

“Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 2

We commit ourselves to provide the highest quality dental care in an atmosphere of concern for each patient’s individual needs. We commit ourselves to provide this high quality of dental care for fees that reflect our skill and expertise and that will yield a reasonable return for our services.

Truth: Cavities are actually caused by bacteria in your mouth. These bacteria feed on sugars and carbohydrates, producing acids that weaken tooth enamel and lead to decay.
That’s why brushing, flossing, and regular dental visits are so important to keep harmful bacteria under control and your smile healthy! ✨😁

Is charcoal toothpaste actually a ""miracle"" whitener? 🤔✨

We get asked about this a lot! While the deep black color looks cool and can help remove surface stains, there is a catch: Charcoal is highly abrasive.

Using it too often is like using sandpaper on your teeth. It can actually wear down your enamel (the protective outer layer), exposing the yellowish dentin underneath and causing permanent sensitivity. 😬

The Verdict: If you want a brighter smile, it’s best to stick to ADA-approved whitening methods that protect your enamel instead of scrubbing it away.

Thinking about a whitening treatment? If you need a fresh outlook on your smile with some brighter results that are actually safe for your teeth, give us a call to discuss your options! (912) 489-1386
