What to expect when you come to see us at Active Chiropractic Rehab and Acupuncture. After checking in with our sweet staff, a detailed history and exam AND TREATMENT if your condition allows it. 30-45 minutes with the doctor. Our goal is to reduce pain as fast as possible, and then stabilization to reduce the times you have to see us. We actually graduate people from care plans. Yes we recommend visits monthly or as needed to avoid major flare ups, so come check us out and see what sets us apart.

Which gastrocnemius is not like the other? We believe a small tear occurred in the outer most layer of the muscle, known as the epimysium. The layers of tissue surrounding a muscle are epimysium, perimysium, and endomysium, which are all types of connective tissue that provide structure, support, and compartmentalize the muscle fibers. The epimysium wraps the entire muscle, the perimysium encloses bundles of muscle fibers called fascicles, and the endomysium surrounds each individual muscle fiber.
