This week, we proudly celebrated Veterans Day at Davie Nursing and Rehab! We were honored to recognize and thank all of our veterans for their service and sacrifice. A special thank-you to Don Childres, our dedicated Veteran Volunteer, for joining us — and for bringing along Matra, our beloved therapy dog, who brought smiles to everyone’s faces. We are so grateful for all who have served and for the freedom we enjoy because of their courage and commitment. ❤️🤍💙

A huge thank-you to Darleen Pettiford, our amazing Hospice Chaplain, and Shekeiya Casey, RN, for going above and beyond to make our special patient’s 102nd birthday truly unforgettable. With cards, flowers, and balloons, they filled the day with joy, laughter, and warmth.
